This wave gem is ranked among the world’s top 100 by Surfer Magazine, and every year surfers from around the globe come to enjoy its barrels, power, and beauty.
Experience the magic of surfing in Chile at this spot, which combines a rivermouth and a left-hand point break. It’s ideal for intermediate and advanced surfers.
This break features a sandy bottom with sections of volcanic rock, offering both safety and a variety of waves—consistent and powerful—with average heights ranging from 2 to 3.5 meters (6.5–11.5 ft), and rides that span from 150 to 500 meters (492–1,640 ft), allowing for long, progressive maneuvers and a stunning view.
Water temperatures range between 10°C and 18°C (50°F to 64°F), depending on the season. We recommend 5/4 mm wetsuits in autumn and winter, and 4/3 mm in spring and summer. If you're not used to cold water, we suggest wearing booties, gloves, and a hood.
Ideal conditions occur with offshore winds and southwest swells (SW), enhanced by southeast winds (SE).
